Santa Monica is a great city.  With about 90,000 residents, everyone who has either
moved here, or was lucky enough to have grown up here, shares a common goal 
and mindset. We all want to be a part of this most western of cities because of how 
special and unique it is.  When Santa Monica 904 Magazine decided to create a 
quarterly publication geared towards its residents and work force, our goal was 
simple.  Use this publication to help Santa Monica’s citizens celebrate what makes
Santa Monica so beautiful?  So musical?  So tasty?  So interesting?  What makes 
Santa Monica so special?

Well, when we set out to try and answer these questions, it was surprisingly easy.  
The answers are all around us.  Please read through the collection of profiles we 
have put together.  Browse through the gallery of pictures. Take time to realize what
it is that you love so much about this city, chances are you probably recognize a 
good deal of what is in here.  That is the beauty of a local magazine, possible only
in a city such as Santa Monica with such a friendly, small town feel.
